The Proximity Lamp is an intelligent lamp using Arduino Genuine Uno and can record two states - ON and OFF. It is capable of learning multiple gestures for both these states and can be trained to switch on and off accordingly.
The lamp is divided into two distinct structures - the wooden box and the plexiglass box. The wooden box contains all the electronics with a button, a red LED to indicate the status and a port for the USB.
The plexiglass contains a high-power LED and a proximity sensor.
The project was developed in SUPSI's Machine Made Interactions course under Massimo Banzi & Matteo Loglio.
